Do you replace Vanta, Drata, Secureframe, or another compliance platform?
No. We work alongside the platform. It organizes controls and evidence; we help your company make the required operating and technical changes real.
Do you provide penetration testing?
No. Penetration testing is outside this service and should be performed by a qualified specialist.
How long does the work take?
A readiness evaluation typically takes 2–3 weeks. Remediation commonly runs 30–180+ days depending on your starting point, target framework, customer requirements, and the gaps identified.
How is the engagement priced?
The readiness evaluation is scoped as a fixed-fee engagement. Remediation may be staged fixed-fee work or time and materials, depending on complexity. Ongoing ownership is structured as a retainer. We confirm the appropriate model after the first conversation.
Can this be added to an existing Aligned engagement?
Yes. When the work overlaps with fractional CTO or engineering leadership, security-readiness ownership can be integrated into that engagement.
